    The extraordinary level of rainfall falling on the Yosemite National Park area over a 48 hour period on 24 and 25 August was 17 times the typical monthly rainfall of 0.44 inches (11 mm).

    A temperature was 50.5°C, recorded in Silopi, Şırnak province, on 25 July marking the highest temperature in the country’s history. This surpassed the previous national record of 50.0°C set in Hassa, Hatay, in August 2023.
